RS232 Development Board RS232 Development Board
Great new development board for remote RS232 control. Ideal for home control projects, includes 72 I/O points, which can be easily controlled and configured. Board also includes 4 channel Analog to Digital convertor, with 12 bit accuracy. Digital to Analog convertor is also 4 channel and with 10-bit accuracy. On-board speaker is included with indication led's for operation and power.

The board is great for many home control projects, including gardening control systems, security systems, climate control and general control. Board can also be activated and controlled remotely through the computer modem.

Multiple programming languages can be used to control the unit, including C, C++, Pascal, QBasic, Visual Basic and Delphi. Commands are structured and easily implemented.

Please note: This is a complete unit and not a kit. Power supply is not included, a 12V plugpack can be used to supply the unit. The ADC requires a ADS7841 IC and the DAC a LTC1661, not included in the basic version.
